WTB: Sky Blue Pearl wrap for hoops

Loading...

Hey all,

I have a '66 Slingerland 22" bass drum that is missing the hoops. I'm trying to fix it up so that I can sell it, and I need some hoop inlays. I bought some hoop inlays from Jamminsam, but the drum is so faded that it doesn't even come close to matching.

So, I need some faded wrap from some hoops or extra wrap from a bass drum. The blue needs to be all but gone... I'm sure most wraps from this era are faded similar. Anyone recently rewrap an old set that had Sky Blue Pearl (or Light Blue Pearl if you had a Slingy)? It doesn't need to be perfect.

---

By the way, I've had my Jamminsam inlays out in the sun, hoping for some fading, but after a week, they haven't faded yet. Anyone have any clues to purposefully fading some of the newer "fade-proof" wrap?
