WTB Rogers early Cleveland tom mount and collet.....

Having trouble finding one of these early tom mounts. These are from early Cleveland Jasper shells with BnB lugs fromn what I understand. The vertical hole pattern is 1.750" on center. If anyone has one to sell please contact me. In the picture it's the mount on the right I need. Mounting hardware a plus! Will even take the bare plate long as it has the correct spacing.

***Also this is not my picture it's from Drum Fox website*** I'm just using it to show exactly what I need.

Thanks all. :)

Glenn,

I believe I have one of these on an early Cleveland bass which I took in a trade. The bass is a mix of Cleveland and Fullerton hardware, but the straight 90 degree collet appears to be the early Cleveland version you're looking for (see pic below). You should know that it won't accept the larger Dayton and Fullerton hex rods and posts, and for this reason, I'm looking to trade it for a later collet. I can't give up the machined collet nose though; I'm trying to replace a bunch of cracked cast noses and need to keep every machined one I have.

I'll measure the bolt spacing tonight to verify that this is the collet version you're looking for.

Glenn,

After measuring, I don't think my collet is the version you're looking for. Although I can't fit the later hex posts into it, the on-center spacing between the mounting bolts looks to be the same as the Dayton and Fullerton era: 17/8 inches, but the Rogers logo stamped into it is placed more like the early Cleveland era collets. I could remove it and let you try it out if you want to give it a shot. Let me know.

Mike let me take a better look at the tom and measure again. Everything is packed up at the moment. We're moving some rooms of furniture around and painting. So it'll be Sat or Sun before I can get at them again. I have a later Fullerton angled plate I can compare with too. I'm hoping I measured wrong and your plate will work. Thanks again for all your help it's very much appreciated!!
