Looks like I'm picking up some dates playing drums for a few friends, and I need to grab cases for my mid-60s Ludwig kit. Ideally would like to keep it on the compact side - well padded soft cases seem to be the best option - we're not touring in a van, so space is really going to be at a premium. I'd love to find vintage styled cases that fit the style of the kit (just picked up one of the Tackle Instrument Supply Waxed Canvas Stick Bags from Revival Drum Shop in Portland, and I'd love to find cases of similar aesthetic), but I recognize that waxed canvas / leatherette cases that are functional and protective might be a pipe dream.

If anyone has any advice or cases for sale, let me know!
