WTB: 6.5x14" COB snare on a budget

Loading...

I'm looking for a 6.5x14" brass or chrome over brass snare. Interested in Ludwig, Leedy, Slingerland, Rogers, Tama, almost anything, vintage preferred.

Budget is tight, so I'm looking for a bargain. I'm fine with something that's ugly and needs cleanup, heads, wires, etc. I'd like to spend under $150, but could stretch it a bit for something super nice.

I was thinking about my power tone but it's all done with new heads and puresound snares and I can't let it go for only $150. Maybe double that.

If you wanted my Sonor I could do that for $200 but it's not brass. It's also all done with new heads and puresound snares.

Nothing else I'd consider letting go.

I would also consider trading for parts for my Gretsch snare. I need hoops, throw, butt, snares and tension screws. It's an 8-lug drum.
