Looking for a new 15" Paiste top hi hat cymbal. I have a set of old Ludwig Paiste 3 star logo Swiss made hi hats. The top cymbal cracked and is at the point I really need to find a replacement. As you can see it's pretty shot. Would even consider a pair of them if not too expensive. These are from the 1958-1960 timeframe looking at the Paiste timeline. Thought I'd look for one before I retire them and look for something else. If anyone has something please let me know~! :) I'll get the exact weight of mine asap. If I had to guess it's in the 600-700 gram range.

that one might be better off by taking that whole section out, like a rounded oval. ive seen some repaired like that and they didn't spread any more. they also looked much "cleaner".

Hi Mike thanks for the advice. I had it on the bottom for a bit but didn't like the sound much. It cracked when my son used them years ago. He drilled it but missed the end of the crack. Thus it spreading further. I got them to stop now but yea she no look so good! LOL. Sound is ok though. I'll look into taking that piece out as you advised. Thanks Sir!
