His methods make total sense. The discoloration is going to be on the outside as in cigarette stains from the smoke in the air. Then his sanding will create scratching, which he in turn smoothed / buffed out with the polish. .......and there you go! Next time I see a drum like that, I will have a better understanding of what could be done - so long as the discoloration is indeed on the outside. He must have noticed that this was not a result of sun rays. Yes indeed - he did a fabulous job and earned every penny of profit!
