Is anyone making the traditional style wmp wrap that Slingerland used in the 50's and 60's.

I have, but he's unable to perfect it.
Thanks for your reply though.
I'm looking for it also, but no one seems to have that older WMP vibe. Lots of the new vibrant stuff, just not the vintage.
I know, and I can't understand that after all this time, there's still no one making it!
The same goes for the beautiful style sbp and wmp that Ludwig was using throughout the 60's and early 70's.
Jammin Sam doesn't supply it.
it wasn't avail for a years til dw was putting it on their pdp kits many years ago. i know this because i was also looking for the wrap to recover a 26" bass drum once owned by bun e. but it was damaged in shipping, so i tried to fix it first.
i worked at a indie drum company at the time and after fixing the kick i went looking for the wrap and i couldn't get it from delmar but i could get it from dw. that means they made a deal with delmar were it was only made avail for dw / pdp and was not avail to anynone else til the color / line was discontinued.
it had a pvc backing (so it won't shrink and curl like the original material) i never got the other drums to build a kit out of it and i never followed up on the wrap, so i wrapped it to match my kit.
however it was made avail a few years ago. i don't work at the indie shop anymore so i'm guessing since you can't find it its been discontinued again. its a color / pattern i always loved and still hope to have it on a kit one day.
you should try either calling dw and see if they have NOS sheets or pieces in stock (pdp was moved to the u.s. factory so maybe anything leftover made its way there) as well as indie drum companies and all the online retail drum parts / wrap companies in hopes they have something left over.
one of them (i don't recall who, precision i think) has a section of discontinued wrap they blow out but they only have bits and pieces of whatever's left over.
Is the Antique White Pearl at Precision Drum Company too white?
