Will the Gibraltar bass drum L-arm fit?

I am considering retiring my Slingerland L-arm for the Gibraltar one. I want to use the 70's Slingerland bass drum cymbal mount in conjunction with this arm. Do you think it will work? I guess it just has to be ?9.5mm? to fit in the mount. I use the Gibraltar flat based hardware so I think it will match well also.

Thoughts?
