Who says the market for vintage drums is soft??

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

Let's see if the seller actually get's the $$ first. I've seen things happen when they get this high and then things go wrong after its all over. Next thing you know, it's relisted a week or two later and never does a repeat on the high figure.

BBK, the market is never soft for a hard to find, rare, or super desireable, as this one is!

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

Hmmm... and I have TWO of these, both near MINT condition, late 1969 build and only a few hundred away from each other on the serial numbers in WMP and COW, StickChoppers, NO MUFFLERs... exactly like Buddy's! I was offered $2500.00 for both of them from a very well respected/known vintage drum dealer... but they're not for sale as they are part of my dedicated "Buddy Rich Snare Drum Collection". It would leave a gaping hole were I to sell them. That was indeed a nice price though! Maybe one day... but not yet! $700.00 PLUS is very impressive for a early 70's model in "gingeraled" silver sparkle though! The seller of this drum is a very good friend of mine. The items he sells are always in just beautiful condition!
