Who knows the drum brand 'Emperador'?

Hello vintage drumfans all over the world,

Recently I bought and restored this very nice drumkit, a sixties "Emperador". I believe it is a Japanese brand, perhaps made by Pearl? On the internet there is hardly any information about this brand. Who knows something about these Emperador drum sets?

I know nothing about them...but they DO look like some older-style Pearl drums. Nice job of fixing them up! They look great!

Thanks for the compliment! The set looks very nice now, it took me quite a while to get it in this shape.

I think that "Emperador" is one of the 30 (or 50?) sub- or distributor brands of Pearl, but I'am not sure at all. I don't think it is manufactured in the Tama-factory, perhaps it is made by Hoshino?

If anyone knows the answer, please let me know!
