What's wrong with this CL ad? :)

From TheElectricCompany

What did the ad originally state? And I concur that's a great price.

They claimed it was a 1960s set, not the 70s-early 80s it actually is.

The original title had "1960s". Part of the text said "losing errors", which I didn't understand. After sending a nice email, the seller apologized for the errors and changed it. And, yes, $1100 is a bargain for this kit!

I agree that this is a nice price. If this set is 80's then I would guess 1980 and no later. When modular hardware was introduced around 1981 it forced Ludwig to move the badge placement on the bass drum from the front to the players side where it still resides today. I also think think this is a good price considering that the snare is the 6.5x14, the finish is desirable and it comes with everything pictured. I can't believe how much those snares go for these days. I must have had several over the years that passed through my hands for low money. I remember finding one in a music store back around 1990 that was new in a box from the 70's that had never been played. The store wanted $300 for it and I passed because I thought it was too much! Geez....
