Can't find my "Franks for the memory" book........

Reason I ask.....

I have a cool, direct pull W and A hi hat that has: "FDS Chicago" on the footboard, and "Wamco" on the backside.....

It looks 30's-40's,but I don't know if Franks went back that far...............

Any help appreciated!

They went back to at least the later 1930's. I've got some old drum catalogues from that period that came from there.

Isn't there a Rob Cook book "Frank's For The Memories" about the store? I don't have it but remember seeing it somewhere.

Blair, Wfl's brother Theobald is the one who got them as an account so yes is the answer!

Cool,thanks for the good info........

I guess I am going to go with late 40's on this one,as it came with a single, 14" Trans Badge A.Zil when I got it.Had a little crack in it though. :-(
