Hello Ralf I will see what I can find

I know the best picture I have of the badge is that blurry thing I posted

I can not seem to take a decent macro shot with this camera of mine

Years ago when I had the 35mm Canon I could get super clear shots on macro

For me, I like the Royal ones the most.

Dutch brand from the past. Well-made drums. Non-existing anymore.

I am definitely a fan of the Trump badge.

I have to wonder how this Japanese company came up with it in the 60's and is there any connection, no matter how small, with the Trump family? I can't think of any other reason to use that name.

But there are a lot of very cool, all-American retro names that the Japanese used to attract American buyers back then. Smart marketing for sure!

The term Trump in cards goes way back. English word is first documented in 1529 as the name of a card game which would develop into Ruff and Honours and ultimately Whist. In German, the term is attested as Triumph in 1541; the modern German spelling Trumpf is recorded from 1590. Long before that bankrupt adulterers family name came about. DOH

Interesting history of the name.

These MIJ kits really have some great all - American names, and some British as well. Must have been a lot of fun for the marketing depts. to play around and come up with these cool names.
