Based on the strainer and lugs, I'd say it's a Star, probably mid-sixties to very early seventies.

Thanks for the reply. I know very little about wood snares. They want 60 bucks for it. Was not sure if it was worth it.

That, sir, is a judgement call. I'm assuming it does not have a badge or you would have known the make or the name of the stencil Not having a badge drops the value.
