What is this drum worth?

Loading...

Hi folks!

I'm new (and used). I expressly became a new member to ask this question right off the bat. I bought this drum new in the early 80s to go with my 1979 Tama Royalstar set. It's a Tama Imperialstar 6 1/2 X 14 seemless steel snare drum in very good condition, see pics here http://s1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff423/IamJFT/Snare%20Drum/?albumview=slideshow

Anyone here have an idea what it's worth? Any other info is surely appreciated.

Thanks

It's like nobody remembers how to do basic research.

There's one for sale now. Watch it. And do the same search for completed auctions to see final selling prices.

No bids at $75. If you really like the drum, best to just keep it. Doesn't look like they get a whole lot of love in the marketplace.

Too many great drums to list here!

No long ago, I had a 5 or 5.5 inch deep version. Nobody seemed interested in it, so I traded it in at Guitar Center. $20

Thanks. Yes, I did some basic research and wanted some input here as a part of it. You have been very helpful. There is a completed sale on ebay of the exact same drum that sold for 225.00, and another one with what looks like a different strainer mechanism that sold for 249.00. The one for 75.00 is not the same drum. I have a buddy who wants mine for 200.00. Sound fair to me.

Thanks again.

Sounds like your buddy is getting a fine drum for a fair price!

Congrats to both of you!
