What cymbal is this?..again...;) A&B Constantinople

Loading...

Hello guys and experts....got hold on a vintage profiled cymbal.

11" Deep hammering...bellotti/ufip look but unsure what it is. Sounds like early K Constantinople with a similar bell profile.

Stamped under side says:

" Half moon and Star"

A & B

Constantinople (written in half round)

Weighs 690gr!

Italian factory? that stamp is not on the Ufip's stamp collection's found here on VDF.

Any thoughts will be appreciated :) Thank you

With some good quality and in focus photographs of

the stamp,

the whole cymbal from the top,

the whole cymbal from the bottom,

side shot showing the profile of the bell

we might be able to get started.

I'm thinking some sort of Italian, but not UFiP. One of the other producers. Yes it looks kind of Belotti in hammering style, but I don't even know if Belotti produced cymbals under other names.

Maybe somebody else will recognize it.
