Saw someone else with a 22-1/4"..(like mine).....also,his gram weight was within 8g of mine..!
His has DEEP RIDE still on his..so I am 99% sure that's what mine is...
Got 2 I want to flip....1 is 2526g ....so medium.....medium thin....edges go up/down nicely.....The other..I think was 1/2 of a Germanic pair...and weighs 7lbs 10 Ozs....it has a very low pitch for a heavy cymbal.....it reminds me of a Canadian K when I play it...and can really roar if you tear into it...Thanks!
Keep in mind vintage cymbal value is not just a question of age. The sound of most modern A's, from the late '70s on, is not favored by many of us who are interested in vintage cymbals. Even though a 1980 A, a 35 years old cymbal, may technically be a vintage cymbal, I and many others won't ever own one.
Thanks for that Bos...I have heard many times that the hollow logo late 70's-early 80's Zils were "some of the last good ones for a while"...that's why I bought these....
