WFL Logo Dating Question

I've been working on a couple of WFL snare drums. The logo stamps on the throw off and butt plate are different. I assume logo with WFL inside the diamond is older (40's ?) than the one with WFL inside the keystone (50's ?). Any definitive dating info would be much appreciated.

Top one is P-83 from 50's.

Bottom one looks like early P-83 as well.

Check out pages 203 & 204 in The Ludwig book.
