Creighton,

first of all....sending well wishes for your folks, hope they (and you ) feel better soon.

as for the marcher...didnt really think my offer would be accepted, don't blame ya buddy, I'd turn it down too. would be really cool if that drum could tell the stories. am very curious of what it sounds like, dont think i have ever heard one. i remember the marching snare from school but i'm sure they are nothing like this drum. would love to hear it.

thank you for keeping me in mind if the drum has to move. i will still be interested.

Hey Robyn,

Thank you so much for the well wishes!! Just will take time to get everyone mended.

I have joined the modern world (under protest) and have an iPhone thingy. It appears able to take video/sound. Getting a sound clip posted is something I have no clue about but will try and sort out so you can kinda hear what it sounds like.

Okay,

Slingerland Festival is done. Gretsch marcher will need further hardware work when I get back home. Marcher weighs in at a 6 Lbs. Enjoy.

Nice Creighton. The Slingerland looks grreat and that Gretsch is too cool. BTW I have the same drum key that's on the Gretsch. No name generic NOB and old. :)

LOVING that Slingerland snare . I think that is what I used when I was in school band and held onto it for a while after that . I should have kept it as it sounded amazing ! I might have to try to find one now .

Warning ... Avoid member statuscymbal here, vintage_collector on DFO , and americanpatriot10 on eBay. Email me for his name. All are the same shady guy who has burned me and a list of other members on both boards . He is also selling on Facebook too ..
