Welcome back...What happened?

I was pleasantly surprised when I attempted to sign in a minute ago. I expected to be as disappointed as I have been for the past few days when all attempts to reach this forum failed.

What happened to shut our forum down?

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

You're right, leedybdp! Because of my ineptness at the computer, I thought I had pushed some wrong buttons and killed our forum! I am innocent!

Maybe sabotage by one of the other drum forums that have alienated many of us.

Same here, Robyn. We're a relatively small drum forum. But, we're a good friendly place that doesn't get side-tracked by politics or religion or other distractions found on other drum forums.

Hey leedybdp! I received a text message from our esteemed tommyp, who let me know that it was a hard drive crash. The fear was that all accounts may have been lost. The good news is that we're up and running and everything looks OK!! Yay!!

I'm also hearing this from Tommyp and DFO members! David has been made aware of this issue and is looking into it!

Glad we're back! It did get me thinking that if this forum ever did shut down for good, what an insane amount of great information would just disappear into the ether, and what a tremendous loss that would be for anyone interested in vintage drums.
