Few more photos. I have the cymbal holder shown on the " Tango Outfit "

My cowbell is the 3 1/2" clear tone cowbell and the non slip cowbell holder ( #'s 128 & 133 in the 1939 catalog ) I need to replace the bottom head on the 16" floor tom. Needed a larger piece of calf skin to do it properly. Once that's done I'm gonna get some really good photos of each drum, and with the kit fully set-up.

Hoping one day to find a period correct bass pedal and hi-hat stand.

I bought this kit for $200 ( also came with a 26" Slingerland marching bass and a 14" Slingerland marching snare with wood hoops )

Had seriously contemplated selling, but now It's my labor of love. My personal time capsule to when the modern drum set really came into being.

I've been in touch with Matt. I'm gonna purchase a 20" piece of calf skin. I've replaced calf skin before, and even found a place to get the proper tacks. It's always fun to work with, feel like I'm back in time.

The photo with me when I was 17 is my U.S.Mercury kit. Hasn't changed since that photo. The bigger kit is my Slingerland 24",14" marching snare ( used as a tom in this ) 14"16" concert toms. My Ludwig 13" tom, 16" floor tom, and mt Tempro 20" bass drum as a floor tom. All red sparkle. The lone Octoban is a 70's Acrylic Tama. Had this set-up at a band house 4-5 years ago. The cat laying in front of the kit would sleep inside my bass drum if my port hole was big enough.

This clip is also of me playing this kit years ago.

I made the video to enter a Roland competition in NYC. I did get chosen to go. I didn't win,but had a great time and met some great guys.
