I got a cool 1955 kit with snare, 24 and 13...I need a CHROME plated hardware 16x16 with considerable yellowing. Fat rings. COB Sticksavers...etc etc.
Ill settle for a 60's drum if its lookin yellow.

I have what I believe to be a Slingerland WMP 16 inch floor tom circa 1950s. It has no badge or markings but the hardware seems consistent with that. It definitely has the yellowing you want. It has standard rings and the old double pad muffler.

I find that the wmp of the 50s is very restorable. A good amount of that yellow usually can be removed.

This one might be too nice for my kit. I'll let you know how it works. Ideally I'd have chrome---I could switch all the hardware over---but I'd just prefer it to be right. I'll keep ya posted.
