Wanted RK drum set or WFL from 40's/50's era

Hi there,

I recently arriived to the US from Europe, and couldn't bring my 1959 Slingerland kit with me, so I'm looking to buy another drum kit to play. I would like to to find a Radio king set or a WFL set from the 40's or early 50's, with ideally a 24" bass drum, a 13" tom and a 16" floor tom. I have a snare akready but if it is part of the set I'll take it. I know those are praised and not around much, but I thought I'd post a thread just in case someone was thinking of selling. Let me know if you've got something.

Not sure where you are located, these 59's have a 22" BD.

Let me know if you are interested.

Thank you schmegeggie, it is a beauiful kit, but I really would like to find a 24" BD. I keep your contact in case nothing else interesting shows up.

For your info, I'm located in New Orleans, LA.

Hi Ista - If you're up to a challenge, I have a kit just like the one in the photo (photo is not of my kit, I grabbed it for illustration purposes,) minus the snare. I have the shell pack for the bass drum, rack tom and floor tom. 13", 14", 24". The drums have no heads, but all hardware is there and heads is all you will need to complete them. These are 3-ply mahogany radio king shells with rock maple re-rings in a well-yellowed marble finish. PM me if you're interested. I'll take photos and we'll hash out a deal.
