Wanted: Kent Oval Badges - Stick on type

Loading...

I just picked up a beautiful Kent 4-piece set in Blue Onyx/Agate. I want to polish it up and it appears as though the badges need replacing.

Not sure if anyone has any of the oval silver badges or know where I can get some ? I refurbished a snare a few months back and was able to get the blue Kent round badge remakes from eBay.

Not sure if it would matter or effect the authenticity of the drums by exchanging the oval for the round blue ones?

I have not seen the oval badges on any other Kent's. ANyone know the history or timeline of the oval compared to the blue or white round badges?

Take a look at the pictures please and let me know what you think abou the exchange or if you know where I can get some.

Thanks and Happy Holidays to everyone !

Michael

I would not put the blue round flower badges on there the were for US made Kent drums which are a whole nother thing . I would just leave the original MIJ oval badges because as far as I know nobody is reproducing these .

The white Flower badges were from the 50s and the blue from the 60s both US made . The oval came in the very late 60s like 69 to early 70s when they imported their drums
