I picked these up with a job lot of drums cymbals etc etc ..They cost me £10. The weight is Top 850gms Bottom 1150gms. Sound wise they sound great. I was wondering if these are rare or is it that lots of drummers have them. I don't know much about history apart from the Italian connection............Thanks.....sean

Not so much "rare", but uncommon in many locales.
The best of them are the equal if not better than fine old Avedis Zildjians.
Sold a pair like yours years ago and have regretted it ever since.
