TAKEN, no longer available

Two unrestored vintage snares to trade:

1 – Leedy Dreadnought “Street Drum” (marching snare), 11x15, all-wood World War II era. See a discussion of these drums here:

http://www.coopersvintagedrums.com/war%20effort.htm

Drum is in good shape and is all original except for heads. Maker’s badge is missing but distinctive Leedy badge shape is visible in finish-shadow. Wooden rims are delaminating in a few places but otherwise this is fully intact and ready to refinish/restore.

2 – Gretsch, 43/4 x 131/2 (I believe this measurement is correct even though unusual), unknown age, straight rims, single tension rods/claws—all hardware present except heads and snare. This was my first drum (1966), it was old when I got it. I stripped it and Watco oiled it. With minimal sanding, it is ready to be refinished (or wrapped).

Will trade for ????? I am most interested in those Brazilian/Latin instruments you have lying around but never really play—age not important (the newer the better I suppose).
