Vintage Ludwig?

Loading...

Hello everybody! This is my first post in the Vintage Drum Forum, and hopefully its a good one. A few months back I purchased a vintage Ludwig set from a thrift store... and come to find out, it is extremely vintage. From the research I've done, the set dates from the 1920's, but I can't find all of the information I've been looking for on the set. If anyone has any questions, information, or is even interested in purchasing the set, please don't hesitate to respond back! I can email pictures, or give you a link to pictures I have posted on a networking website if you would like. Thank you!

Welcome to VDF!

If you will attach pictures in a post (you are limited to 5 per post), or place the link in a post, we can all have a good look and many VERY knowledgable Ludwig enthusiasts will be glad to help you identify what you really have.

I'm no guru, just a vintage drum junkie!

I will certainly try posting pics, or a link to pics. I tried earlier, but the pictures were too big for this particular site.

I hope this works... If not, I will try to post pictures as soon as I can!

If pics are too large, you can resize them. Doing so is different on different computers, though.

Hi and welcome. There are a few different forums here at the Vintage Drum forum. The one you posted in is specific to vintage cymbals. While its not a problem posting your new acquisition here, it might get more visibility if you copy and submit the same post to the drum forum, if you have not already done so. It is the first forum in the list on the home page of this site.
