Vintage Ludwig snare.Need info

After searching this site, I believe my Ludwig snare might be from 1918 or so. Can you help confirm this. I would love to know its value. It's in good condition, all original. Also wondering if cleaning a vintage drum changes the value.

Any accumulated dust that stays put holds moisture, That`s all you want to clean off.

Complete,... as is survivor,... is the way a buyer wants it.
