Hello,

I've noticed that some of my many Vintage Ludwig flat base cymbal stands lean a certain way and the shafts/tubes are not perfectly vertical. On all of them that lean, they are leaning the same direction as one of the legs is pointing. Interestingly enough, they always lean towards the leg that is nearest the "L" in the Ludwig logo on the bracket/wingscrew that raises/lowers the legs.

On the ones that do lean, I get around it by having the leg that it leans towards facing me when I play, and I can always compensate for that by adjusting the angle of the tilter if needed. I just take a silver Sharpie and make a mark on the rubber tip of the leg that it leans towards, so I know to always have that leg face me when I set up.

Does anyone else have this problem? Any remedies to fix it permanently?
