Vintage DW5000 Question

Loading...

My 1980s DW5000 single chain pedal has lost the bolt, washer, and nut that attaches the Chain Linkage to the foot pedal. Sprocket end is solid.

Can anyone provide guidance on a replacement bolt size? Thinking of going stainless steel. Its a tight fit for a socket on the bottom side of the linkage.

thanks for any guidance.

Take it to a hardware store and see what fits... I've carried stranger items into one.

The same parts are still available from DW. They work for Gretsch, original Camco and the DW pedals. Here are the schematics with the parts numbers.

That is just a off the shelf flat head phillips screw, star washer and nut. You can buy them from DW but you will probably pay $20 before it's all done. Do Latzanimal suggested and take the pedal to the hardware store. You will probably spend $2 to $3 for the same exact parts.
