Have mentioned this in a different thread on a different post, but am eager to find out more, so would appreciate any help.
I wasn't aware Arbiter did cymbals, but this is a vintage 18", quite thin, possibly a crash/ride. It's like most old cymbals, with just the arbiter stamp on it.
Any ideas of age, value etc?
It's likely a stencil brand made by somebody else, probably a Premier Zyn, for Arbiter. Nobody knows what these are so there's no real demand for such a cymbal. Therefore its value would be essentially nill.
Sorry Brody, Drumaholic is probably right. Most likely is a Zyn or maybe a Krut.

There was an Arbiter version of the Formula 602 which is pretty rare but it is still stamped Formula 602 also. Arbiter was a dealer for Paiste and Zildjian in the 1960's but to my knowledge they did not make their branded cymbals.
I doubt I could get my camera to pick up the stamp, but it definately says Arbiter on it. It's at rehersal space now, so I'll take a look when I go up today, and try to get a shot - takin my camera up anyway. For the record, it sounds great!

Yes its definitely is a UFIP stencil brand. I have it pointed out here on the UFIP stencil brand Rosetta Stone.

[COLOR="DarkRed"]If it's a Italian-UFIP-produced cymbal from pre-80's or so...it's probably pretty dang good....never to be confused with Krut or such.
IMHO, the stencil-brand Italians are the sleepers of all cymbals.
Nobody recognizes what they are...but they are usually B20, handmade, almost always very well-made.... and good-sounding.
