Vintage 505 20" crash, repaired

Loading...

Yep, I got this cymbal off ebay, it had a good sized crack, which I welded up and now this girl sings! Love saving these from a lathe or worse! And with this wonderful crash cymbal, are my 16" hi hats I made from some repaired crashes I had, sweet!

When my 505 16" crash began to crack, I found a way to keep it usable as well.

It was the first "good' cymbal I ever bought, around `82, and it keeps time at least as well being a clock, as it ever did as my crash.

Yes, the hands are drumsticks.
