Value of Ludwigs and Gretsch Last viewed: 32 minutes ago

Okay, so I may be putting one of my sets up for sale in the near future. I want to get a consensus of the value of them. First, is the Ludwig kit. I'm looking for value minus the snare, throne, cymbals and stands except for the shell mount cymbal holder. Sizes are 22, 13, 16. One of the hoop inlays is not original. I can put up more pictures if needed. I'll post the Gretsch a little later today. Thanks guys

It is Ludwig however it is not vintage. I wasn't going to include it in the sale but I can probably be convinced.

Well better late than never. This is the other set I'd like to get an idea of the value on. Late 60s Green glass glitter, 20,13,16. Hoops have been repainted but could use another coat, wrap seems were lifting and have been re-glued. Floor tom legs are reproduction and bass spurs are new. I can take more pictures if needed. Thanks again

I agree with VM2k on the Gretsch. That color makes the kit... not knocking the drums, but that color puts it over the edge. I'm at $1600 to 2k easily on it. Ludwig prices are insane, almost regional. Those look nice, but I've seen that configuration go for anywhere from $700 to $1200 a lot of times.

That looks like a Gretsch Name Band outfit (maybe that is a 4157 Snare) and all hardware. Like the others have stated easily $1800 to $2k. Very nice set and I dig that sparkle finish.
