Speaking of USPS nightmares. I sent a payment out to a fellow forum member a little over a week ago. Still has not arrived to him yet Thankfully it was a postal money order and not actual cash and my immediate fear is it got lost in translation somewhere. I hope it arrives safely to the seller, worse case I hope it arrives back here ( not that I want it here, but I'd be ok if it was returned due to tampering or something of the like ) at least them I can re-send via insured priority ( because I certainly would cover every base in that instance )

Had another member send me some items, 2 day priority mail. Yet the USPS site and tracking seems to think that while you pay for something to be here in two days, it is acceptable for it to arrive in five. Not to mention the item was picked up yesterday and only tonight did it leave DC ( once again, according to their tracking )

I hope in the first instance It's just a bump in the road, and the second is just my frustration with them at the current moment.

Oy Vey!

USPS can be a bit bizzaro. I've sent something Priority to a town 25 miles from me and it took 5 days to get there. I've also sent something to CA and they got it in 2 (I shipped that one late in the afternoon on a Wednesday and they got it first thing Friday).

Well who knows when my Tempro snare is due to arrive. Shipped out last week and was supposed to be delivered today. According to their marvelous tracking, today was the day. Yet it doesn't show my package having left NJ in the past two days, wasn't on the truck, and once again shipped via priority mail. I think I might indulge them with my :2Cents:

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
