Using drum gear to solve other issues. Last viewed: 4 hours ago

So, my laptop is old. Needs airflow. Forgot it's spacers. Snares I brought on this road trip are torn down, no quick need for sticks. Vic Firth SD4 Combo's to the rescue. Interesting typing on a rolling computer.

Couldn't find the stand for the fake Christmas tree last year. 30's flat mended that. Any other stories?

Yep

I glued some spare snare stand feet under my computer keyboard when I broke off one of the originals....

Locked my keys in my truck once and used the rod from my hi-hat stand to slide between the weather stripping of the door and the truck roof to hit the unlock button on the door. Worked well and didn't hurt the rod or the truck.

Wow, sounds like your truck is way too easy to unlock. Say, where do you park it? ;)

i have a tama multi clamp holding up the shower head.

when i wash / detail my car, i use old snare heads, cut a hole in the middle and use it to cover the polished rims from over spray when cleaning the tires.

i've used old hdwr tubes as a breaker bar when wrenching on the car.

I have used Tama multi-clamps to put up ham radio antennas. They work great but are kind of expensive.
