Unstamped Hi-Hat Cymbals

Loading...

Hey everyone.

Picked up a set of cymbals today. Had a 22, a 20, an 18 and a 16, all A Zildjians from the 50s/60s but there were also some hi hats that aren't stamped at all (As far as I can tell.)

They're both 14" although, they're both a bit off of 14. (One is 13.7" and one is 13.8")

Was hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction as to what they are based on lathing/hammering.

Edges don't look so good... may have been turned down to remove some nicks? ... That would account for a little undersize... from a distance they look Zildjian(ish) to me,,, how do they sound ?

Cheers

John
