I have two project kits that I have been unable to complete. It would be a crying shame if these drums were not given a second shot at life.
1. Three late 40’s Radio King shells and hardware. 24” bass drum 14” Tom 12” Tom. The drums have a rare lacquer paint job that mimics a yellowed WMP wrap. Slingerland didn’t produce very many of these kits and even fewer exist today. Extremely worthy of restoration. Gorgeous Radio King 3-ply mahogany shells with wide rock maple re-rings. The best drums from the best era of Slingerland. Photos to follow shortly.

2. Clear acrylic Bop kit. I bought this project kit because of the unique sizes of the drums and because it was my intention to save the shells by adding wrap. I was going to wrap them in Champagne sparkle.
Three of the shells have well repaired cracks. One is just fine no cracks or repairs. All repairs have been very well done and the shells are sound, ready to reassemble into a working kit. Because of the cosmetic issues (repaired cracks) they are perfect candidates for a wrap job! Fibes had great success selling wrapped fiberglass drums. Great little project kit in rare sizes for acrylic shell. I’ve never seen a 14” x 14” clear acrylic floor tom much less a 14” x 18” bass drum. Worthy of refurbishment.
12” & 13” rack toms
14”x 18” bass drum
14”x 14” floor Tom

Photos to follow. Again- all cracks have been stabilized and the shells are ready for wrap. Perfect club kit - small drums easy to haul and set up.
