Perfect working order? It looks to me like the collet noses have hairline cracks, as is typical with the Fullerton cast parts. They may work for now, but they're on the downside of their life expectancy.

I'm really an old Ludwig nut, but I picked up a 9/72 Rogers Studio X set at a local music store. They just wanted it gone. All of the collet noses are cracked and will have to be replaced in order to get the set right. Finding these machined isn't easy, for me at least and a little expensive.

Do they still hold the drum O.K.?.........Joe

i'll have to double check about the cracks when i get home today.

i've never actually used them. they come on some other non-rogers drums and i took them off.

i don't have any drums to attach them to and test them so i'm not sure. they seemed study looking to me but again i can't be sure.

It does appear that way from your photo... if they don't say 'made in USA', it's likely.
