I knew DDR company TROWA was making cymbals, but it seems they made drumkits too. Look:

Unfortunately, the photos aren't very good.

Then there's this 15" cymbal. Probably TROWA too, hence not worth much.

Interesting stuff on that side of the world. I dunno, th cymbal looks handmade...but I dunno if it is B20 alloy or the cheaper NS12. Unfortunately, there also seems to be a ding on the edge.

But, interesting nonetheless...

I've never had the discutable pleasure of hearing TROWA cymbal by my own ears, but this is how one guy described 22" TROWA ride: "'Tis somethin' between cymbal and a church bell. You mustn't crash it, or it's gonna rip yer head off."

My guess for alloy is NS12.

Interesting thing about socialistic products like TROWA or Amati is their unbalanced quality, or how to say it. They were made from good materials but were manufactured so bad, or opposite-good design, good craftsmanship, horrible materials.

EDIT: Just found out this company was later renamed to Tacton, making copies of Sonor for East-bloc market.

Gilnar...is that you and your band ? Good stuff...very groovin'. The keyboardist is right on it, too.....

yes, it's funny....I guess most of the east Bloc stuff wouldn't be considered good, yet there are some gems in all of those instruments....

Haha, no, that's not us... These are some Poles... I posted it here because the drummer has Tacton drums (at least I think so). We're not very experienced, yet. This is video from our June concert and I have to say we traveled some way from then.
