Looking to trade my minty 5-line Dyna COB shell in search of the three pieces I'm missing for my keeper Dyna, a 7-line. I need: The snare frame, the snare strainer (throw-off), the internal muffler. Anything out there?

Here are some pics of the shell...

Good luck!

That's a pretty clean shell.

I can tell it is a Fullerton issue shell, what is the number?

Also ... that is a lot for a shell.

The Rogers experts are the better authorities to respond to the 5 vs. 7 line question. I believe the 7s were earlier and a slightly different build.

From The Ploughman

Yes, I agree Ploughman. This is just the list of the things I'm looking for and the trade item I have on hand. As always, with a '+' or '-' cash if need be. I dated the shell at around 1971 last I checked the serial number. It's in my climate controlled storage locker at the moment (where they play jazz on the sound system 24/7.) lol

I might have it written down. Will look.

Top is a 1964 Seven Line

Bottom is a 1975 First Issue Big R Five line.

There are many variants to this drum over its 23 year history. And yet, it is the same drum.

I sadly don't have any spare parts for trade but I might be interested in buying that shell. Is that something you would consider?
