Three-Step Drum Polish

Loading...

I know some of you guys use a three-step drum polish on your vintage shells. What's the name and where can I get it?

Do you mean NOVUS? I've bought it at aquarium stores or it's available on Amazon. It really works on freshening up faded or scratched finishes.

As stated above, I do believe you are referring to Novus products. You can purchase a 3-pack of Novus #1, #2 and #3. Novus #1 is great for normal cleaning a shining. Novus #2 is for light scratches and works great on vintage wraps. You then follow up with Novus #1. Novus #3 is to soften up heavy scratches. I haven't had to use it on any of my vintage snare drum wraps, but it's great for cleaning car headlights, where the plastic lens has yellowed!
