Late 70's OBP (bowling ball). 22, 12, 16. Took them out for their first gig last week. They really sound great tuned up high. Used a 2009 supra phonic with them.

From R.Adam McHugh

I just bought this 1966 Luddy downbeat (sans snare) from Don Bennett (lovely bloke, would like to meet him one day), shipped to Oz for a bit over $3000USD all up, which is probably a lot, but the kit is beautiful and in such good condition I didn't mind forking out. These are some pics from the ad. Can't wait to take it out for a test drive - jazz gig this Friday!Loving all the kits on this thread, by the way, nice to be able to add one of my own!Cheers,Trev

That wrap is stunning. Beautiful kit.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Thanks Mitch and Jaghog! Been recording with it too, sounds fantastic. I'm really happy I coughed up the dough!

Really like the wrap on yours as well, Jaghog! Is there a lug missing on that top tom, or a trick of the camera?

Early 80's Ludwig Rocker/Phaser (I re-wrapped them in turquoise sparkle, they used to be a solid red wrap)
