I came across this while browsing eBay today. I've never seen this description before...
This Is a New One!
Currently looking for a 3-ply 24x14 Ludwig in champagne sparkle w/rail consolette and cymbal mount!
For many years, in the guitar universe, the very common slang term for a WMP pick guard or other WMP trim on a guitar is MOTO. Sometimes it's spelled out as Mother of Toilet Seat pick guard, back plate, and fret markers.
No way? What's the comparison to toilets I'm missing?

There were times when people ordered strange things from our Custom Shop. The master builders in the Custom Shop also made bizarre guitars and amps for the annual industry trade show where we'd have a lottery drawing for authorized dealers to take their pick of which one-offs they wanted to buy. I sold one set just like this (might be that one in this picture) to a major Custom Shop dealer in Houston.
Wow! That Fender set-up looks awesome! Thanks leedyBDP!.......marko
The next big trend in bathroom makeovers and design:
Drum Wrap toilet seat covers! Add a touch of class and elegance to your toilet with Black Diamond Pearl! Or, say that your bathroom is "Fun" with some Mardi Gras! And don't forget that Pink Glitter wrap for the girls bathroom! Complete your half bath's contemporary look with some handsome Silver Sparkle that goes with any decor!
Years ago my friend and I came up with the idea of selling tervis-style clear tumblers or coffee mugs with pieces of drum wrap between the layers. Our idea is that they would come with 5 or 6 different wraps that you could interchange to fit your mood. I'll be darned if the idea didn't turn up a few years later. A day late and a dollar short yet again!
I'd buy a serving bowl wrapped in Ludwig Avocado Strata right now!...and serve chips and guacamole from it!
