The " Angry Face " lol

Loading...

I don't think I'm the only drummer who does this, but I never really notice this face on many of my fellow drumming friends when they play. But I always seem to have at least one photo from every show ( going back to my first ) where I just have the nastiest looking face, and I'm never mad at anything. I guess I get so into it that this happens....LOL

Anyone else have live shots where you're making some sort of facial expression?

Ha ha, ya you look angry all right but that is called getting into the music.

Here is a pic of me, not really angry but maybe an unhappy look but I was not unhappy, had a great time that day.

At a gig last Sunday, my wife approached the stage and held up a cardboard sign she had just made. On the sign, one word: "SMILE". Hmmm...

I can't believe I've no pics to show, but I often have this look like I'm badly constipated when playing.

It's a shame I don't have much else to talk about on here nowadays! I can't talk about radio king snares forever.DOH

Well, unless you're gigging with The Partridge Family, there's no need to smile whilst playing...:)

No pics but I'd say what I have while playing is usually more of a stupid face...I mean that's what it feels like sometimes...

LOL! That was a great reply, Mitch! I understand completely! I'm sure I make some pretty stupid faces too. Of course we know that drummers are the most intelligent musicians in any band. We are just expressing our creativity!
