All I can say is, if DW is 45 years old grantro needs to put up the "This is the Display Your DW Drums Thread" very soon because some of the DW's must be vintage by now!
And Mark, these anniversary sets are probably going to set you way back.:)

That's a glorious kit! I think I'd like it better if they had just clear-coated the shells and not done the burst...and put the inlay from the shells in the bass drum hoops. That would have increased the cost quite a bit, but it would have been a slick touch.
