Here is the Blaemire section of the Forum for today.
It is a very small section.

That is one fine looking drum and a great photo. Makes me want to listen to marching music then go fishing! Nice color choices, and I noticed you didn't get chintzy on the breather hole hardware either. Very, very nice.

Nice job! An entire kit of those would look awesome. I have a buddy of mine out in Cali who is an artist with Blaemire shells. I wish I had some photos of his kits to share with you. You would really appreciate them. Funny, it seems like everytime I see a photo of Blaemire drums they are near water! My friend always shoots pictures of his drums out by his pool...
Love the snare and the hardware choices.

Hey John,
It's a small world, as Scott knows, and has met Jerry. We have a cool little Blaemire club down here in So. Cal.
Greg
Greg - Small world indeed! The only reason I've grown to love Blaemire drums, is because of what, Jerry can do with them. I've never played a set of Blaemires, but all of Jerry's drums are so out of this world beautiful, if an opportunity to buy a kit, or a set of shells, (rare occurrence,) ever comes up, I'm going to pop for them for sure.
Are there more photos of Blaemire drums to be had here at VDF? Where in the forums should I hunt for them? I wanna see more!
John
Thanks Man. Jerry has been an extremely helpful guy in my Blaemire restoration projects. You are correct, He IS an artist.
And he was kind enough to pass along some expertise and tricks to deal with the strange green glass.
Thanks SA
Well, judging by the results, your Jedi drum building talent and Jinx playing Yoda whispering in your ear, it's a winning combination. The results speak for themselves.
Again, very cool drum... Cool1
John
PS - Next time you see him, please tell Jinx I said hi, send my best wishes and tell him that I -already- miss reading his posts and seeing his drum pix. Jinx is one of the best, I have a ton of respect for him as a person and a drum builder/designer.
Here is one of jinx's kits. I don't think he would mind.
I need to take new lo res pics of mine for VDF.
