Those are great looking drums. Without the canister throne, they would be worth $650 USD here in the states. Thats the first canister throne I have seen, although I have only been a Sonor guy for a year or so. My personal opinion is "go for it."

I know very little about Sonor, but those are absolutely beautiful. Get them.

If insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, is it insane to practice?

I would also go for it...they could be late 50's if the logo head is correct. Do you know the dates?

NOT 50's . Logo head doesn't match badges . 60's , possiblly early 70's . Seller is a fool for not shipping . This kit on German Ebay .

1963 Gretsch Progressive Jazz Champagne Sparkle
1967 Ludwig Super Classic Oyster Blue Pearl
Yamaha Birch Custom Absolute Burgundy Spkl. bop

Wow thats a nice set..The set is late 60s[1968-1970] the badges are not the two piece ones they don't have made in western germany under the main sonor badges so i'am saying the shells are 5 ply beech wood these are great shells...I would say here in the us just the three drums 600.00-700.00 with-out the canister throne..I have been selling vintage sonor drums and parts for years[25+]..I have only seen one other canister throne[ if i recall right that sold for 175.00 in 1982 or 83] these are very rare i would say just for the throne 350.00-400.00,,If you have the money i would buy the set..mike
