I can't tell you this for sure, but its most likely made from steel. Tama rockstars are low-mid end drums.
The earlier Tama Rock Stars had an aluminum colored badge with black writing and usually had Dx or Pro on them.. (Early 90's)
The badge you have would be in the Mid90's. (Oval shaped?)
That is as much as I know (not an expert) currently and only because I was asked to sell a Tama Rockstar DX for a friends wife... These had the DX badge and were from the early 90's
If you look on Ebay you will see more examples of the drums...
The snares go between $45 and $100 and not that valuable as already stated
