Up for sale on CR is a Tama Superstar EFX in ugly orange satin swirl for $400 I think he will take less and included in the sale is quite a bit of hardware which I could probably sell on my own. I believe the sizes are a mounted 10 x 14, 16 x 16 and 16x18 FT, 22 bass and 14 matching snare. Look like new heads. Never owned Tama. Is this a decent deal? Thank you.
I'd love to see pctures of that ugly orange! I have a feeling that it may be an "ugly duckling " colour. Not too shabby at all! Since i collect and play with vintage Stars, the price doesn't seem too bad at all. Could you please post pictures? Thanks.

thanks for the response. I'm unable to post any pictures because I am computer challenged. The kit is listed under either North Jersey or Central Jersey - Craigslist. You may have to scroll back a few days or simply enter Tama in the search bar. Let me know what you think of the sale.

Die-cast hoops all around - and someone will LOVE this color - (could that be you?). I once was eying a kit that was orange stained and was so bummed it was Orange. I emailed the link to my friend who said "Those are AWESOME!" and I began to look at it from a different perspective......I ended up falling in love with the kit. Same could happen to you. These satin swirly colors are not common and very hip IMHO. Just be careful with them....once scratched - nothing you can do to fix them......such that those wraps in good shape are the prize to find.
That kit is calling....begging for a restore! $400 is very reasonable - especially if you are not a double bass fan (like myself) you can flip that IC pedal and recover much of that 400.....probably get the price down to 325 after that.
