Hello all. I'm the lucky owner of a Tama King Beat snare drum. late 70s early 80s model. I love this drum! however.... the snares should be retired. after 30 years, i think they done the job. The problem.... they are the aircraft wire type and I am looking for the same replacement. Cant find them anywhere! Pure sound makes a coiled type to fit the eye holes require, but i really like the original aircraft wires.
